I Like the Way You Move

Commenting on Freud’s theory of sexuality, Carl Jung said: “The brain is viewed as an appendage of the genital glands”. Freud was right. Men and woman spend much of their time thinking about sex and even the subtlest behaviors provide “erotic simulation”. A study showed that subtle body cues, such as booty sway in woman and swagger in men, are sexual turn-ons. Many very ordinary-looking people ooze sexuality because of the way they move or act, which makes them sexually desirable. The researchers asked subjects to watch computer animations of shadow figures as they walked across the screen and rate them for sexual attractiveness. According to the ratings, the sexiest women swayed their hips as they walked, while the sexiest men moved with a cocky strut. Sexy movements are not always easy to copy. Marilyn Monroe had a sexy sway, but Anna Nicole Smith couldn’t quite pull it off when she tried to copy her. (In case you’re not familiar with these two ex-celebrities try Haifa Wehbe Versus Dominique Hourani ;)) As for men, many women are attracted to the swagger of Daniel Craig, the new James Bond, but are not sexually aroused by ex-president Bush’s strut 😀
